Roslyn Binford Hopf, PhD, LP
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who helps kids, teens and adults who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression and all the stress that is part of life. My job is to listen, understand what you’re going through, and work with you to find real tools that actually help.
I use approaches that are backed by research—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT). Therapy with me isn’t about judgment or pressure. It’s about feeling supported and learning how to handle the hard stuff with more confidence so you feel less overwhelmed.
I started in this field over 20 years’ ago. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota and did my advanced training at The University of Chicago. I’ve worked on treatment studies for teens with eating disorders, and I’ve trained with some of the top experts in the field. I even spent several years in Germany, where I worked with teens from all over Europe who were dealing with similar things—eating disorders, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and just feeling stuck or unsure of who they are.
In 2023, I moved back to Minnesota and opened my practice in 2024. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in a cycle with food or anxiety, or just want a space where you can talk and be heard—I’m here for you.

Hey there,
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of pretending things are fine, you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Therapy can be a space to talk without judgment, learn helpful tools, and start feeling more like yourself. If you’re curious about working with me, you (or your parent) can reach out. I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.
You don’t have to go through it alone.

As a licensed clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience, I specialize in helping kids, adolescents and young adults who are struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and related challenges. I know how overwhelming it can be to watch your child suffer—and how hard it can be to find care that truly fits their needs.
My approach is grounded in compassion and guided by evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT). I’ve had the privilege of training under leading experts and serving as a therapist on federally funded studies for adolescents with eating disorders. I also bring a global perspective from my years practicing in Germany, where I supported teens and families across Europe.
In therapy, I partner with families to help restore stability, rebuild connection, and support healthy development—especially in the face of complex eating disorders or high anxiety. I believe in meeting kids and teens where they are while giving parents the tools and guidance they need to play an active role in recovery.
If you’re feeling uncertain or discouraged, please know you’re not alone—and that early, informed support can make a real difference. I’m here to help.
